But luckily, I’m in Florida right now taking full advantage of my tanks and fitness shorts I haven’t been able to wear in months. Not trying to brag or anything, but it’s been 85 or warmer since we got here :p. Ok but in all seriousness, this paradise won’t last much longer for us since we leave tomorrow early morning and I’ve heard horror rumors that temperatures are well in the teens or below these days. So in preparation for what’s to come, I’ve been checking out some seriously warm fitness gear and put something together I wanted to share.

It’s definitely been a lot easier to get our butts to the gym here in Florida, but I am a believer of doing hard things, and let’s be real, adding cold weather to the already difficult feat of getting to the gym itself, doesn’t make things easier on anyone. So let’s layer it up and not make any excuses going into the new year J.

cold weather Workout Outfit!

Since it’s been snowing, you’re going to want one of these water-resistant jackets to stay dry.  It’s suitable for rainy season as well, so it’s a worthwhile investment for those less than desirable weather situations. It’s on sale right now and it’s Under Armor, so you better act fast if you’re interested!

Also, these adorable red Pumas are also on sale at just $39.99! These stood out to me, especially since I don’t really own any sneakers this color and have been wanting to explore others outside of my pink maroon Nikes that I wear pretty much every workout.

I am not sure who will want to actually work out outside in this weather, but if you are a die-hard, you may even invest in an extra layer of leggings as well under these fleece sweats. Personally though, I think outside workouts at this point could pose a health threat, and if you’re not a gym person, maybe it’s time to look into some at-home fitness videos. I’ve done the Jillian Michaels 30 Day video before while traveling and it kicked my trash. Seriously, don’t think for a second you can’t get a good sweat in at home. Let me know if you want some recommendations that are within your budget.
