La La Lace!
First two words that come to mind when I think lace? Romantic and sexy! Whatever your style is, there are ways to incorporate lace into your wardrobe and add that touch of feminine that lace provides. Personally, lace is a BIG part of my wardrobe, I just can’t resist it. And your man probably won’t either 😉
Lace has definitely become a popular material in more than just sexy lingerie or vintage style attire. There are honestly lots of ways you can wear it in this modern time without feeling too old-timer, whether it’s a dress, skirt or top. Check out these personal faves!
Lace Bodycon Dress
Bodycon dresses are such a hit this year! I know we usually see black, white and red, but now they come in almost all colors! I’ve seen other stores selling even blue, mint, yellow and more. What’s more sophisticated and at the same time sexy, than this sultry red dress with a pair of gold high heels? It’s a hard combination to master, but this look slays it. Let’s not overlook the fact that these heels are just $24.99 on sale right now, and guaranteed you will wear them with more than just a lace dress. But with this look, you’ll surely be turning and breaking necks everywhere you go ;).
Skirt + Chambray Blouse
For something that you can easily wear casually during the day, or dress up to glam things up in the evening, a black skirt like this one will do the job and more. Many tops will match great with a black lace skirt, but lately I’ve been on a chambray shirt kick, mostly because of how great it looks paired with any black bottoms. Paired with a cute pair of pumps, this look is great for semi-formal occasions, or maybe a dinner date with your favorite man. Wear this with some sandals and a crew or V-neck t-shirt, and you’ve got yourself an adorable daytime outfit!
Top + Kimono
I have bought a couple white and off-white lace shirts, and let me tell you, I can’t seem to stay away. An off white lace top looks great alone, or paired with a cute cover like this kimono! And speaking of kimonos, they’re another big-time item this year, and we can’t blame the majority. They are super flowy, comfy and feminine! I found this particular one, for a whole $11!! They’re a great alternative to cardigans, especially if it’s too hot outside, which, correct me if I’m wrong, but it is spring, and that means summer is just around the corner! Can’t even wait!
